ECTS Application Instructions

The following directions should help you get started in applying for a program at ECTS.  You will need to sit down with your parent/guardian to complete the process.

1. 1)    Go to ECTS.org
           (Applications typically open around Nov. 1st)
   2)    Click on “Create or complete an ECTS Application”
   *PRIORITY ENROLLMENT APPLICATION DEADLINE IS MID-DECEMBER
   3)    Click on “SchoolMint Enroll”
   4)    Parents/Guardians - Create an account
   5)    Parents/Guardians - To find your student, search their name in the database
       *If you cannot find them, please contact ECTS (814-464-8600)
   6)    Parents/Guardians - Return computer to student
   7)    Students - Read the instructions on each page and fill out the boxes and/or answer all questions completely on the application 
   a)    Choose your favorite program first and your next choice second
   b)    Add 2 teachers and your counselor for recommendations  
   8)    In the Spring, you will receive an email notifying you if you have been offered a seat, or placed on the wait list
   9)    If offered a seat:
   a)    Log onto your account;
   b)    Accept the seat;
   c)    Complete the registration information - DEADLINE IS TYPICALLY APRIL 1st
