Dear MIHS Students, Parents/Guardians,
The PSAT is being offered at MIHS to interested 9th and 10th graders in April!
Taking the PSAT is optional and will be administered in digital format only.
The PSAT is a practice test aligns that with the SAT, a college entrance exam, used by many colleges and universities. It aims to help students gain a better understanding of their current knowledge and skills and support growth toward achieving academic goals.
9th grade students will take the PSAT 8/9, on Tuesday April 8, 2025.
10th grade students will take the PSAT 10 on Wednesday, April 9, 2025
Signing up to take the PSAT is easy! The Exam is available to purchase through Infinite Campus. From IC, go to the MIHS School Store, select “Shop”, select “PSAT,” and “Add” to your cart.
Once the Exam has been added to your cart, check out and pay to complete your transition. The fee for 9th grade PSAT 8/9 is $14, and the 10th grade PSAT 10 exam fee is $18.
The deadline to purchase a PSAT Exam is January 31, 2025.

Join us to learn more about how to pay for a college or a career school. An expert from the Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA) will share important information to help you plan for paying for school. At the event, we’ll talk about:
• Applying for financial aid, including scholarships
• How to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®)
• Who needs to apply for a Federal Student Aid ID (FSA ID)
• Costs to attend college or a career school
• Borrowing student and parent loans
You’ll also have a chance to ask a PHEAA expert questions and get some great resources to take home. We’ll see you there!
